moving to Arizona

I am moving to Arizona and am taking my car with I have been told by many people that my car could over heat and pop the engine is this true or false

if you feel that it would overheat, then work on your cooling system. its that simple.

These Engines run at over 100 degrees...Generally the heat wont hurt to much. I never had Issues with mine unless im stuck in traffic for extended period of times. If your cooling is ok where your at, then generally speaking you should be ok out here.

If your cooling system is working properly you should not have any problem. What part of AZ if you don't mind?

the heat here isn't too bad.
It's been a while since i've had my rx7, currently drive a turbo'd focus. i was concerned before I moved about the heat, even bought an oil cooler. Still haven't installed it on the car, this is my second summer here. I'm living in the Gilbert, and "rush hour" traffic around here is 30-40 mph, plenty fast enough to keep air moving under the hood.
