missing exhaust ticket

I just got a ticket for missing muffler on exhaust, and they said I need to go to the court house to get it fixed? does this mean I have to go to the state Ref? and If I got a ticket for JUST missing exhaust, will they check my engine bay?, there is no way my engine will pass the ref. with a single turbo set up.

Is it a simple fix, just put a stock exhaust back on with a CAT and it's all cool? or will I have to do more?

The ticket says (A) VC Missing Muffler on Exhaust.

Yeah, just put on the stock exhaust and take it to either a police station or court house for them to inspect it, and sign off the ticket. You will pay like $10-$15 for them to do that, then go to the counter and show them that the ticket was signed off and you are done.

So I don't need to worry about anything else going wrong?

does it make a difference that it says "no" under correctable violation

be careful taking it to a courthouse.

i got a dick cop there and he threatened to have my car impounded and taken apart piece by piece.

and my ticket was for front license plate. try to get it signed off by a CHP or other cop NOT at the courthouse. like if you see one somewhere(dont bother them if they are eating or writing a ticket tho)

I know I can get a cop to sign off for the front plate, I asked a cop and he said the courthouse was the only place to fix the exhaust ticket
