We have a group of 20-30 cars caravanning in from Phoenix with several joining us from Texas. The drive from Phx to Irvine is around 400 miles one way. Fill it up with premium, make your hotel reservation and head on down! It probably would be more fun as Bern suggested to join one of the Bay Area caravans.

 

bull. I always do a turn around trip from LA to Phoenix, or San Fran or Vegas so stop complaining I forget to mention that includes partying all night long with no sleep and still get to drive home
