#1 who is doing the roval? I still have not signed up, if its too hot i don't want to run, FMIC deh suck!
MDP and I will still be out there though.

#2 where are we parking?

#3 should we even try the 12x12s? lmao

 

I am doing it, but I also got a garage. A 12x12 should be nice if everyone brings food and drinks to BBQ out there. If it gets too hot you can hang out under the garage bays.

 

Problem with the 12x12 is that the wind is so bad they blow. We will see.

Seems like a few of you have garages. Hopefully you guys can get ones together.

Yeah, you can meet with us there. I'm going to be driving to the track with Alex, so if you see a VR FD and a MB FD that is us, we both have black wheels.

On a side note, I blew out my diff on friday at the drag strip. I'm hoping to have my car ready by saturday...

I'll be out there to support the cause, but won't be tracking the GTU this year as I've been too stinking lazy (and too busy at work) to get some "issues' squared away - cooling, primarily. Was almost going to rent a car, but that was going to cost too much.

Anyway, here's a pic of me from my 2004 stint on the ROVAL for the "been there; done that" category. Would have been fun! BTW, this was my GTU N/A with 214k on the odometer. Still going pretty strong these days.

From past experience, SpeedVentures runs a good show, so should be fun for all.

 

On a side note, how is the food situation at events like this? I really don't know what to expect. I don't want to have to lug around too huge of a bag of snacks if I can buy some of it while I'm there.

I got a GOPRO cam and a HD camera with suction cups for footage. Should be a fun event. I'll see about bringing some drinks in an ice chest.

Sarah7, I don't recommending eating Farmer Boys. That place sucks. I got some mean food poisoning and I thought I was going to die for 4 days. Best bet is to bring your own food and some shade.
