The white FC in frame 26 of DivinDriver's photobucket won best RX7 in the car show. Nice body kit, and very meticulous under the hood.

Actually the yellow rx7 won best RX7, the white one won best stance.

But they're the same owner so i guess it doesn't matter, haha! Congrats Ryan!

The judge told me my car is nice but it sucks that I was parked next to the yellow FD. haha! so true!

Nice to meet all that I got a chance to talk to, and Mazfest isn't the only event track junkies go to!

It was a good show. I was too busy boothing to hang out in the garage though I was only able to drop off that box of Capri Sun

 

I stood at the bbq for a lil bit, mainly walked around n ****. I was good seeing steven, jaime and glen, haven't seen them in ages.

There was a brutally critical Simon Cowell judge amongs the three. Trust me, I saw the evidence earlier today.

 

What happened to the guys that said they were coming but didn't?

 

They are why those that did walked away with multiple raffle wins. Saturday attendees have much bigger libraries now.

 

If this was a true points based judging system, then there really is no way that this car could beat eaither of Ryan's cars. I'm not saying this because he's my friend, I'm saying it because how is a car that is stock body with a lip, wheels, stock paint, mild interior, no undercarriage, with custom turbo but still a fairly stock looking engine bay going to beat out a widebodied, fully built car with audio, custom interior, custom paint, polished, cermamic coated or chromed everything car.

Don't get me wrong, that mazda3 is nice but what are some of it's other accomplishments? What other awards and trophies has it won because I'd sure as hell would like to know. It's way nicer than my car but I just don't see it beating out a car of this caliber.

Seriously, you're telling me that mazda3 car is a higher quality build, parts and attention to detail than this?

Some of you may be saying I'm an ******* right now and that may be true, I just think it's weird how it went down. Even Ryan was saying that he was surprised his FC won the best stance award because there was a silver FC with a better stance than him.

These MOCC judges dont really know what there doing and the show was pretty much a joke.
Anyway live and learn, Mazfest is purely for the track events and thats it. Will be participating
in that next year instead. Great times with friends and all the rotary power guys though...

 

LOL. come one guys... I knew it was going to be hilarious when a STAFF member asked me if I wanted to be an impartial judge.

I told him, sorry bro, it's YOUR show, and I really don't know much about the 3s that were strutting around all day. I can judge the RX's if you'd like. But he walked away b/c I wasn't interested in looking at any 3s.


Bring your toy's to SS, we'll judge it's worthiness there!

(I might have to take it out in the parking lot and and test the brakes first...)

As far as the judging goes, I was volunteering for set up and boothing that morning and I think what the MOCC guys did was only to judge cars that did the pre-reg. As for any other details
