Mazfest was sweet. Spun out a few times (first timer on buttonwillow; 1st spin: lost hill, 2nd spin: rained, was goingl ike 10mph on sunset barely taped the gas and did a nice slow speed spin lol). But man was it fun. Thanks for setting this up. Seven Stock 9 should be held at a track as well!!! Maybe some of those lemans rotaries to run it

Thanks John! My apologies for not getting a chance to chat with you. I'm glad you enjoyed! You and the FD looked good running out there!

Were you in the black FD, newbie group? You passed me (white miata) and then you spun, I thought it was funny :P

I had an awsome time. When the rain hit, I came over lost hills and slid right into the dirt - I didn't have much fun after that, just too slippery...

All in all good times! Next time I wanna bring my FC out....

LoL yeah that was me! First i signaled you to pass me up so I can trail you for a lap or two, but then you signaled me to pass you up. On lost hill/magic mountain I started turning to apex too quick (miscalculated where the apex cone was since you cant see it until you get close to the top of the hill), and then realized when I came over the hill i needed to correct it, thats when the back came out. then the rain messed everything up too. but that was good controlibitily experience, the back was going out everywhere. lol, fun times.

cones generally aren't good ways to mark apexes or braking points-people hit them, then the corner workers move them!
i had a blast at mazfest. it was great seeing everyone out there, and getting to drive with everyone and give rides. im really looking forward to next years event

That was a fun one, for sure. I wish i woulda hade a little more time...I got out voted on whether to stay or not when it began to rain, so we headed back up to the Bay Area around 3:30. We hit a serious frickin rainstorm about an hour from the track...we were doing like 35 on Hwy5, and I could barely see the taillights in front of me.

trainwreck, I saw you and came over to say hello, but you guys were looking like you were sleeping. I was the guy with the white N/A S5 with RPF1s a few cars down from you.

Who was the guy in the red FC with a single exhaust that sounded sooo good? It had no hood-scoop, but it sure sounded boosted. I think he was in the beginner's group. Whoever that was, NICE CAR!

dang, that sucks, b/c the rain lasted just long enough to wet the ground and it was gone... 20 min later, and it wasn't even too wet on the track except for certain parts... i.e. the offramp, esp. when you get on the inside curb...

Natey, just wanted to compliment you on your FC. The car looked real good with those RPF1s. You have any pics you could send my way? What size wheel and tire combo are you running?

Thanks,

-Bern
