yeah I have bought a few things from them before.

Bought the triangle/door assembly
and a bose snake for my FD.

Concensus: Legit but actually a expensive considering it's a junk yard. I would only use them for hard to find items where your only option is the dealer.

I agree with the previous post. I went there when I was in the area. They seem to want too much for used parts.

There is also: www.mada-dism.com . They are located in the same area as Mazdarecyling. They also sell rebuilt engines. The web-site is www.rotarywarehouse.com

expensive but they have just about anything you'd need.

i got a good deal on a set of rims off one of their ebay auctions recently for an FD and they didn't give me any hassle over the price.

They are willing to negotiate price at mazdarecyling. I called about a stock swaybar and they asked for $130, which I thought was crazy and talked them down to half that. I think their first price is almost always high.

Man oh man. They have the worst customer service ever. They sent me the wrong item and made me pay to send it back. While speaking with the Rep, he got irate and could not remain professional. It took 45 days to credit my account back. Since they took so long, I had to file a dispute on the transaction fearing that they weren't going to credit my account. I will never do business with them again. Try to contact Malloy Mazda because they have excellent prices for Mazda parts, tell them that the RX7forum referred you.

Yeah they quoted me $120 for a used window switch too, and this was for a '91 MPV.. then I called the dealer and found they were only $95 brand new. Heh.

Yes INDEED!!!!

One of the WORST Customer service I've been to.
Went and ask for a "driver side door" and a "Driver Window Switcher" at Mazda Recy.
and the guy was like, if I show it to you, will you buy it?
I told him I have to see and look at it first before making a decision.
The guy say no, that I have to buy it if he had to call somebody to go get the parts for me, or show it to me. I just told him, it's cool, I'm out...

Mazda Dismantling is the one you should go to. Got alot of good deals off from them. The are located just a block away from Mazda Recycl.

I must agree. I haven't had any problems with getting parts from them.

Just out of curiousity. Has anyone dealt w/ Rotarywarehouse? They are also owned by Mazda Dismantling.

Mazda Auto Dismantling was a good place to go. I remember needing two very specific injector plugs for my car, and Mazda Recycling wanted to sell me an entire (USED) harness for $350, whereas Mazda Auto Dismantling clipped them off of a harness for $10. Just remember, you're paying for the part and the labor it costs to have it pulled, so it's not going to be as cheap as it will be on this forum.

Wow that kinda sucks for your biz if this forum says stay away. Not that we have much infulence... but I think we are one of the biggest mazda groups there are. I'm talking about ALL wankel groups vs the protoge's or miatas. Or mpv's. =)

They have the parts... you just have to haggle like a ****. All recycling yards will try to bend you over with their first offer. They always have room to negotiate.

Welcome to the world of sales.... especially junk parts.

I have done business with them about 5 times. They did me right. I went in myself and picked out the parts. I thought the price was reasonable, nobody likes to pay to much at a boneyard and you always do. I would go back if I needed a part again.
