Hopefully you guys won't run into the same problems that we did for the Rotary Extreme meet. The highway patrol got called on us. There were reports of "several loud sports cars weaving through traffic and throwing flames out of their exhausts." I wonder who that could've been??

The meet in in Sac. If you want to meet up with us, I believe we are meeting at the Marina Sq in San Leandro and all going up to Sac together.

Alright, i just contacted michael (aka envyforrx7). Lets set up some guidelines. Lets not speed on the freeway! Lets not shoot flames as much as possible!! I'm planning on driving below 75mph. lets set it around 65-70mph just to save gas and not get us caught by cops.

I need to contact a_drift in vallejo and *rx007* in vacaville. I'll be contacting you all when the caravan meets up in marina blvd then i'll contact when we're at hillsdale.

Talking Speeding? Who's got laser detector? They should lead the trail!!!

Here are some spots where to slow down that I know of in I-80. After passing Vallejo northbound that mountain road don't let it fool you they are up there waiting for the next victim. Once Fairfield is reached that exit that says truck weighing station by Scandia miniature golf course they are there. But it is somewhat congested here so careful this stretches all the way to Vacavile after that its free run but careful please and again slow down in Davis I have had numerous experiences here that they just popped up out of nowhere! But after that free run again all the way until hitting Sactown.

Although I cannot guarantee accuracy but what I had experienced from the past when I used to live in Sacramento and drive down to SF almost every weekend. Guys we are hot pancake for the cops flashy cars, some will be loud on exhaust and all of us doing caravan at the same time spells trouble to me they may even pop our hoods for check up on modifications (new law). I would really hate to ruin my day on this nice trip just for speeding. Specially those idiot driver's who would always wants to race you just because they can't have RX7's or hater's let them pass. We all know that our cars are better than theirs! If they really want it bad ask them to race in the track for pinks.

Let's have safe and fun trip, I know I am sounding like a Dad to everyone here. That is fine because I have been in trouble before and paid a hefty price for it.

To sum it all up. Keep a look out on all of the freeway entrances, continuously scan ahead, and above all check your "six" repeatedly.

Well said Envy, well said!! I know that our caravan was under control and ran at 70mph all the way from Sac to Vallejo when Teh N8R took over and then it all went to hell. But prior to that it worked out just fine.

I never race, but speed quite often. I will be cool though, I don't want to be the one setting a fast pace for everyone else, and cause everyone to get a ticket.
