and... mebbe about pirates too... tho ninjas rape pirates.

Ninja's have stood the test of time. Granted, pirates have been around for a good long time as well, but ninjas have been around since the world was believed to be flat. This means that while ninjas trained and mastered their art, pirates were raiding towns on foot since sea travel wasn't as extensively used. Many high valued items and "treasure" were transported by caravan across vast stretches of land. The raiders that attacked these caravans were simply an early generation of pirates.

For the second reason, ninjas spend nearly their entire lives training. They are constantly perfecting new arts, and mastering skills in stealth, survival, infiltration, and overcoming stacked odds. Pirates pick up new recruits at the closest sea port that look like they have been living on a boat and killed a few people recently. Pirates focus more on brute force and surprise attacks rather than technique and careful planning. Ninjas are able to survive in less-then-ideal conditions due to the amount of conditioning they put themselves through.

Third. A Ninja's sole purpose is the elimination of the enemy. They are implemented for assassination and scouting. When ninjas are brought into a situation, in most cases, the enemy is nearly at a loss already. While the main forces battle, a small group of ninjas can easily eliminate key targets, and throw the rest of the enemy into a state of confusion. If three key military attack strategists are laying out plans for the upcoming flanking manuever, but are suddenly killed by an unknown enemy, those orders and plans never reach the battlefield. As a result, the manuever that could have won the battle is lost, and the enemy's forces are overcome.
On the other hand, a pirate would be too busy worrying about trying to get to the money to think about a particular strategy.

Fourth. You only see a ninja if you're about to die. In most cases, however, you do not even have the comfort of at least being able to see your killer. If you see a pirate, you know you just saw a pirate. Even if he was sneaking up on you, chances are, you would still smell him.

Fifth. Ninjas during the day can seem to be just another ordinary citizen. Yet, when night falls, they can hide their identity and become extrodinary killers. Their ability to blend in gives them yet another advantage. A pirate will never blend in. Unless, of course, he is at a pirate convention of some sort.

Sixth. Ninjas have a wide assortment of weaponry. A pirate usually carries with him a sword and a pistol. In some cases they might have a smaller dagger or something of the like as well. Ninjas, however, usually carry a sword, dagger, throwing weapons, poisons, and diversion equipment. If all else fails, nearly every ninja is proficient in a martial arts form. So proficient that their hands and feet are considered lethal weapons. Take a pirate's weapons and you have an ugly, greedy, street-brawler. Take a ninja's weapons, and you have nothing short of a proficient killing machine. A ninja would have no problem infiltrating an enemy camp completely unarmed and eliminating his targets. A pirate that tries to infiltrate an enemy camp in search of treasure while completely unarmed, in most cases, will not leave alive or complete his task. For a pirate to properly eliminate someone in his way, he will have caused too much noise for the kill to be effective and unalarming.

Seventh. Ninjas, overall, have more of an advantage when it comes to their choice of apparel. A ninja can easily blend into their surroundings. They usually make their appearance at night. Their clothing can easily aid them in retaining their "Invisibility" that they depend on. Once again, however, a pirate will never blend into anything

The 7's down.... gonna rip it apart tonight and try to get it up again. If I blew the motor though because of that damn coolant explosion, I will probably have to rape someone in the ear. Yes. The goddam ear.
