Looking for someone with a Apexi PFC Commander

Hey wsup socal 7 owners... I just recently got my FD running after repairing a engine fire job. But I still got one problem..I got it modded up and it's currently running/idling best with the stock ECU. From what I've read around the forums, that isn't recommended. I have a used APEXi PFC which I've tried to use, but when I hook that up the car runs/idles horribly. Most likely cuz the presettings from the previous owner doesn't match my mod set up? And I don't have a hand held commander to tweak things. Mods I got thus far are :
-Full non-seq setup
-K&N Intake filter cones
-Trust/Greddy SMIC
-Trust/Greddy pully kit ( removed air pump)
-Megan downpipe/midpipe
-Racing Beat exhaust (dual tip)

other than that my fuel setup is stock atm. So I'm thinking and maybe seeking is there anyone near Fontana, Ca who is capable of checking out my PFC and adjusting it? Or has a Commander for sale/trade? Or would I have to take it to a "tuning" shop? Any suggestions be greatly appreciated. I'd also be happy to compensate anyone for there time on the PFC issue. I also work at a Auto Wrecking yard, so maybe we can trade labor for parts? lol.

in your case i would run the stock ecu and DO NOT boost at all. take your car to a tuner in socal and have them install and tune your PFC. running a PFC with someone elses maps may cause more harm.

What about keeping it under 10psi of boost with a boost controller on stock ecu in meantime?

Did you remove the pins from the PFC or harness yet? Since you don't have a Commander, you can't reset it to factory settings, but you shouldn't need to do more than restore to default. I've "installed" the Power FC on three RX-7s and it usually don't give too much of an idle issue after it's done calibrating.

Probably not, since I have no clue what pins you're talking about on the PFC or harness.

Read this, do it at your own risk: www.clubrx.org/media/pfc/PowerFC_FAQ.pdf

Worked great for me aftwards. You'll still need a Commander to make sure everything is running properly and reset the map on the PFC.

Thanks alot for the link ... I'll probably try this after getting the car to run 100% since that write up suggest so lol... still having minor idles issues.... thinking probably because of the clutch switch, dashpot, or maybe just my whole tbi...since im still using the one from when the car caught fire.
