Looking for a good stereo shop

Hey guys, just like the title says. I'm in Hawthorne and don't mind driving. Looking to put in a whole stereo in a 90 FC. Thanks guys!

there's so many stereo shops around here. when i was in the 818 i went to galaxy auto sound. they let me borrow a car for free the whole day while they worked on my car. but it's pretty far from where you're at and there's probably good stereo shops in hawthorne. what do you plan on doing?

Just door & tower speakers, head unit and sub w/ amp. Detachable though. Some a-hole broke into Her last year and ripped out everything so I'm starting from scratch.

There is no such thing as a good stereo shop imo. I went to a really nice one and they did not to a very good job. They used butt conectors for everything rather than soldering the connections. If you do not know how to do it just buy a stereo book and diy. Good luck. Post some pics when it is finished

Best Tint on Beach blvd, in Stanton. It's a tint shop, but they do all kinds of stereo installations, alarms, lighting, suspension, etc as well. I'm biased though because I'm friends with the owner and everyone that works there. While you're at it, you can get ceramic tint which blocks like 90% of the heat that comes in through your windows (makes a world of difference). If you don't like the tinted look, then they also have clear ceramic film which blocks out as much heat and UV as limo tint.

well reason they don't solider is because to do it properly and actually clean wires tin them and clean when done just takes to long, not cost effective for them, best thing i have ever seen was at best buy they had the quick connectors, on for every make of car and one for every make of radio, Plug into car plug on into other and plug into radio...

i think its a waste to solider as well.. all you need is current so twist and tape works, not like your are at the getting THX sound out of a car nor in it that long to worry about it...

San diego too far??

Might be a little far for you, but I would recommend Tom (3x dope). He lives in San Diego. I have seen his RX-2 and two of his verts, and they all had great audio systems. Tom does this for a living and stands behind his work. Plus, you would be working with a guy that understands the intricacies of an FC...

In looking at his profile, he hasn't been active on the forum lately, so it might be difficult to reach him.

Good luck.
