local question as I didnt get help in the General Support area.

Hey… I put this question out on the General Rotary Tech Support.

I have my alternator apart and want to paint the inside parts. I just want to get an idea of what type of paint to use so I don’t goof up the installation.

I know a few people have done this. I just don’t want to start reinventing the wheel and I have searched but pant type is not stated.

my question link = https://www.rx7club.com/general-rotary-tech-support-11/paining-alternator-question-464081/

Thank

Tek

I'm sure any high temp ceramic based paint will do, but powdercoating would be a much better choice.

My bad... I've never heard of anyone painting the coils. Lets see some pics when it's done.
