Your solution is one of the 3 things already mentioned in the original thread...

Also FYI there's no such thing as a clutch cable on an FC...they are all hydraulic operated clutches.

You can't get it into gear while the engine is running because the clutch fork won't disengage the clutch from the flywheel which means the slave cylinder isn't working.

You either have air in the system, so get a buddy and have them pump and hold the pedal down while you open the bleeder. Do it about 3 times or so and see if it helps.

The clutch master or slave cylinder is leaking which is common on alot of vehicles not just the FC. Old age or improper fluid are the causes of the leaks 90% of the time.
If the clutch master stays full and you don't see any visible leaks at either part or any connections then your clutch master is leaking interally and allowing the fluid to bypass a seal. ( the more likely cause )

If the latter is the case then your best bet is to replace the clutch master and then bleed it and see if the problem is gone. The master will normally leak before the slave starts to leak most of the time.

My bet is the master cylinder went out if all the fluid is there.

Nothing else is commonly possible seeing as you were able to get the car to move in gear and didn't notice any horrific sounds, so the throwout bearing and clutch fork are still in place and the slave cylinder didn't pop out the push rod and pop the seal and leak all the fluid out...
