last race of the year for NASA (recap)

Season ending. Points for SoCal regeon is done for 1st (Rose) & 2nd (Vine) both in 7s.
I was 13 points behind Koos also in a 7 for 3rd. Then Green in a Miata.
I needed to beat Koos both days to get back into 3rd. That would be very hard to do. Seeing that 1; he is very fast and 2: I'm running the same tires I had at Mid-Ohio.
Saturday was a wash for me. Had susspension problems. First, the rear end would move a 1/2" back and forth. Bushungs in the wats linkage were toast. I didn't have enough time to fix it. So I tightend it as best I could and drove it.
Wow what an experance. Rights were ok. But turning left as like. Turn the wheel.... wait for it...and bam! The car would then take a set and turn in hard. Was about to come in. Then a the yellow comes out and they stop the race to get a BMW off the wall.
The good news was Koos no showed. He was running TT??? Thank you.

Sorry, No video on Saturday.

Sunday I had the new Wats link in place and found more lose bolts in the front end and a brake pad comming apart. Also found the brake rod going into the power boster needed adjustment.
It ws sooooo much better. I pulled out a low 2:13. Only a Sec off the other 7s in class.
I was starting 4th out of 5. Then the race director inverts the start. Just for fun.
I held on for 3rd. and ended up in 3rd for the season.

Enjoy.

Great race. Never rode/drove button willow counter clockwise. Looks like it flows a lot better
