pinkfloyd, you should really check out the Ghetty. It's on a hillside by the 405. You can see Santa Monica, Century City (I may have the name wrong) and the skyscrapers of downtown LA. It will give you an idea of where stuff is. Admission is free, the architecture is cool and parking is $7.00. Don't eat there though unless you go to their fancy restaurant. You take a monorail to the top.

El Taurino's in K-Town, LA... good place for mexican food. i forgot exactly where it is though... i just know it's in k-town

IVC is right down the street from my house. That Pumpkin patch/Christmas tree farm that is in the parking lot is the one me and My kids walk to, you can see the lights from my back porch.

they filmed some scenes in the first season at a motel near my old apartment out in Long Beach... they showed my apartment i used to live at in that movie BLOW... it was supposed to be Manhattan Beach...but filmed in Long Beach
