Hey hey...I just moved to San Diego from the D.C. metro Area. Looking for some local 'motorheads'. Owned a 93 Montego Blue 5spd...but obviously my car wasn't going to make a 3000 mile trip. I NEED to get back in the 'scene!!!'

I have no car as I just moved down here and work 5 blocks from where I live.

I Have a Camera, I have a badass playlist on the ipod, and I have the ability to stir insightful conversation....I'd love to film any fb, fc, fd or other rotary powered machines.

If anyone wants to hang out, get some grub, do some sweet camera poses (the car that is) let me know....I'm free this weekend.

I actually love the mixture of all......I guess pure driving skill. You can't be an idiot and nail a perfect drift. But then again, the rush of pure viceral accelaration is an addiction on it's own....

I have to admit I'm one for a good highway run, on open, non ingested freeways...

Is National City in the Downtown area?

What do you dig on? drifting, circuit, drag?

The San Diego RX7 club meets every first saturday at 11am at Fuddruckers in Mira Mesa, which is about 20 mi north of the Mission Hills area. Usually it's a lot of standing around and talking about cars, then we get some lunch. Good stuff really.

 

If anyone wants to pick me up, I wont object (boo to not having a car yet....how archaic!)

 

hey you can find some cheap rx7s in sd. i found my TII for 1200 running :-)

and by the way on tuesdays and thursdays theres a meet in clariemont off the 163 at a place called Fusion. its pretty cool somtimes as long as the ppl with underglow dont show up.

you missed the Slide America Tour at Speed Alliance, it was off of 163 and Clairmont Mesa right near where that meet is held.
