1. We never shook on it.

2. If anybody should pay such blood money, it whould apparently be the Tuner.

3. What upstanding person would take advantage of a horrible engine death such as that.

4. And finally, nobody was talking about driving recklessly. Yet another example of:

That list could describe any car/engine on the road, NA FC/FB included. Except the V8 has more power. Oddly enough the power gain gets only a little attention on that list. Most of the comments on that list are made in contrast to the rotary in the FD. Or, really, it's the unreliable parts like the twin turbo that tend to destroy the rotary in the FD.

from all the **** talking going on, damons set up is quite nice. and he did keep it ford. all the "vette" motors look stupid, and the only reason they do that is because the parts are so readily accessible for "shitvy" motors. kinda like owning a hond. i got coilovers, jdm mad tight headlights and a painted fender for 120 bucks, and damon has seen it, it looks mad tyte.
damon is still a cool cat, no matter what is under his hood

"damon is still a cool cat"

Comment - Agreed, a good guy for sure. Actually, also one of my favorite guys in the local RX7 community.

"no matter what is under his hood"

Comment - Damn boinger!!!

this guys is dead-on! What a great play on words too, shitvy "vette" motors do look stupid, great point about bringing up engine aesthetics! You're so right about it being just like owning a Honda, dead-motherfucking-on

wasking machine or doritos on a stick- we all know damon's a "cool cat" and most saw his previous FC so just wait till he gets another one [thats rotary] then all they haters will be at his feet begging for the specs or something. just give it time...he will probly come to his senses-
plus i saw his v8 FC at SSX and it is C L E A N especially for a piston conversion

My living nightmare at SS10

Was that one of the longest standing, yea pillars of the RX7 community (Royce Branch) came up to me all excited wanting to know who owned that V8 (Damon's) RX7. He really wanted to check it out and ask the owner questions.

I swear the rain started coming down in sheets right after he asked, but it was actually my tears that my hero was so attracted to the dark side.

Damn boinger!!
