im i the only person that read the dmv how to sell a car.

Every 7 i see they say they don't need to smog? WTF. i dont want to buy it and its not going to pass. This guy is selling a rx7 for 2000 and i said im interested im selling my volvo and will have cash soon but i said its smogged right? he said no he doesn't need to >< wtf.

The only way you WOULD NOT have to smog the car is if you buy it within 30 days of smogging it, other than that, you have to smog it to register it to your name. Oy Vei!!!!

i heard the seller of the vehicle is required to smog the vehicle before the sale. its the responsibility of the seller even if you sell it "as is". but if your smart sell the car "Non op" and smog for the vehicle isnt required on your part because its non op.
