question 1. yes, but you better not have powersteering or thats gone for sure.

question 2. as long as its not higher then the stock radiator top no mod is required. but im sure that certain things would need to be relocated.

question 3. this pic looks like one of the forum members setup for some reason. i forget his name but maybe if you find him he can tell you how he did it.

good luck.

I'd cut my hood to get some airflow in there. It's not so cool beind the rad if there is no stream of air moving the heat out. I had thought about this setup by it doesn't seem worth it for me. And who needs power steering?

or just get a CF vented hood thats suit's this set up..i would think that its not worth it eather. for the simple fact that you could just mount it up to the front of the fc, theres plenty of room there for a huge IC anyway..althought im not to sure if there's any gain's in this setup or if it was just for showing off..?? power steering = lame/lazy.

that's Justin's car before he painted it that cream/tan color. his name is Boostnmys5, look him up on the forums or his myspace. if you want his myspace address hit me with an IM and i'll send you the link. he's a hella cool guy and an awesome drifter. i met him when he still lived in Portland Oregon and worked at a local shop. i think he even kept his power-steering, not that you care lol.

The main reason why this setup exist is not to "show off" as you put it, but to allow the radiator fresh air to keep the engine running cool at the track. Water temps are an issue with FMIC while at the track, and I don't mean a 1/4 mile track.

FMIC is no issue with street or drag racing, but when your on a road coarse being on boost for 85% of the time engine temperature starts becoming issue.

To answer the original questions:
1. Yes you can keep both AC and heater, you will need to relocate your AC condesor though.
2. Alot of custom brackets, and a vented hood.
3. Yes, plenty of people have done it. My friend is currently doing a Vmount setup on his FC with a cosmo engine.
