CA I want to learn and help for free.

Hello Rx7club, I've always wanted to work on Rx7's. However I have no idea how to start. About two years ago I bought an FC, I had to get rid of it because I live with my Mom in a small apartment where there is no space. Also car work is prohibited here. I would be taking mechanic classes at my college but I am currently pursuing a Mechanical Engineering major which takes up all my time through studying. It's summer and I'm out of school for a few months, I really want to spend this time learning about one of the things I am most passionate about in life. I'm 23 years old and I live in Huntington Beach, if your semi-local and need some help I would happy to assist for free.

heh, everyone asked me about this sort of thing, however the ones i did offer this to never showed up on a regular basis. so, i quit doing it.

most likely because they realize it takes years to learn the ins and outs of a car, it's not something you can learn on an internet course in an air conditioned room in a couple of hours... let alone i consider half of these cars to be antiques now, not something you can just tear apart without breaking things, you must use care and that's not something a novice will know how to do. there was only a few who were genuinely still interested after 10 minutes of dirty work.

I didn't get any responses from this post. I guess my only option would be to make some new friends or move to place where I can work on my own projects. Could a forum admin actually please remove this post? I tried to remove the post a few months ago but it seem that feature is disabled on this forum.
