Angry I thought to day was going great....

To day is my day off and i decide to do some errands i went to costco and smothers stopped at the mall and bought 2 wedding rings at a discount ^_^ i went to the bank to get some money so i could buy new brake pads front and back. as i pull out of my parking space i see in my peripheral vision some cheap *** Hyundai backing out all i could do out of reaction is shout.... ****** hit me on my right hand rear fender/door. the only damage done to his car is 2 minor scratches on the bumper!!! its not to bad but i just bought this car off a car lot only made 2 payment on it... i dont think i can bring myself to go to seven stock right now... i need to know if i should involve my insurance or take care of it myself ??

wow, well...any pic's of the damage? im sure that you can just fix it yourself..if not then i would think about involving the insurance but it might become a salvage'd title.. i dont really know..what's with these dumb driver's..that's the worse place to get hit too. if it were a fender or something else that's a direct replacement.

Dude...you are balling buying all that stuff in one day. I know besides the point.

Honestly, if it was totally his fault, you should put a claim on his insurance company. However, if he's insured by Mercury INS...be prepared to wait about 2 months for a payout. Good Luck.

honestly, unless you call the cops right then and there, taking down his info could be pointless, and you could lose all hope in recovering any money.

a long *** time ago, when i first started driving, i accidently took off the gas pump thing at a gas station. i was in a hurry and Yoink. it came right off. they have special releases just incase dumbasses like me do that.

well the gas station attendant took down my info. i showed him my DL which had an old address on it, and since i had just switched cell phones/numbers, i gave him my old phone number. I remember thinking, "i dont have any money to pay for this ****...." I got away scott free. but i also remember driving by that same gas station a few weeks later, and they had re-modeled the whole gas station, so maybe they just didnt give a ****. idk.

If you guys get into an accident and they give you a number, call it right away while he is in front of you to make sure it works or is even his. I dont trust no one, after knowing the **** i've done in the past.
