I have a 3 inch dp and a 4 inch exshast ( HKS ti exshast ) I need to know if I just a have the stock DP will I be able to pass with this exshast?

 

You can pass the sniffer test just fine with a downpipe. A cat-back exhaust has no effect on emissions.

 

i doubt you will find a cat that will work for that setup, try borrowing a stock or modified exhaust that has a HF cat.

 

Depends on the smog place, some people will let you pass with no cats for the right $$, some places are too stupid and have never seen a rotary to know what's supposed to be there, some people are car enthusiasts, and don't care, and some (Most Places) are ******** and don't let you get away with an airfreshener, due to it's changing the pollutants coming from the car

I found a place that was willing to close an eye due to them participating in a employee benefit / discount plan from a neighboring larger corporation.... so they knew I wasn't going to narc on them...

 

Thank you for the info. I have no mods just those two Items..... I think I have a stock exshast and a dp on the way I just want to get this thing on the road.
