you should take the test for the post office, since you were in the military you get a 10 point advantage over everyone else, plus it seems 80 percent of the ppl that work there were in the service, it should be pretty easy for you to get a job there plus its decent pay for career spots

19.00/hr for Mail Carrier <--walking all day :-(

and thats starting pay

 

or if you wanna just try it out for a year they have casual (temporary) spots. casual pay is lower

Clerk / Mail Handler - 14.00
Mail Carrier - 17.00
