So I just called Apexi-usa inquiring about few of there products. Seems like they brought the PFC for the FC model to US (or finally to release one). On there site is listed for 86-91, out of curiosity I called them to see does it really fit all FC Turbo model. (Maybe they made 2 adapter harness for it and different maps and triggers). The sales person told one they only have one adapter harness and it should fit all Turbo model FC. Most you guys prolly know that S4 and S5 FC are different, different, ecu, harness, and etc. So I told the sales person that there is difference between the 86-88 ECU and harness and the 89-91. After awhile drawn to conclusion its for a S5 (89-91). So now they are going to corrected on their site. - I doubt any you guys care.


$1350 MSRP for those THING, I think ill stick with my Haltech E8.

 

Yep there's only 2 versions... AP for the S5 guys and the FD version.

That is incorrect. They never made a S4 pfc. I was talking to Kevin at Apexi USA and he said its a misprint. If you search, you will not find one info on a S4 Ap Engineering pfc.

I believe you are mistaken.
I have seen S4 PFC go forsale on eBay.
I would probably take Kevin's word... or Apexi USA's word with a grain of salt around the AP Engineering products.

I remember going thru hoops, being put on hold, when I tried to call Apexi for a PFC Commander on my old AP-PFC S5. After switching with 3 people, they were unable to tell me which commander to buy... Infact, they had no idea of such a product existed. I understand that this is a *new* thing for them, but I still believe they are unknowledgable in regards to what were made and what weren't. (keep in mine this was before even anyone here have any experiences with the ap power fc - long before banzai even created their version...)

If you want an accurate answer, feel free to email/call JPS Trading Ltd, or RHD Japan... They are pretty knowledgable when it comes to hunting down weird parts like this, and they were also the one that found the correct commander for my PFC. As for the S4 PFC, like I said before, I have seen it for sale a few times on eBay. Although there aren't any for sale currently, I am sure they will pop up on the auctions. If not, directly contact them (JPS or RHDJAPAN) and I am sure they will tell you they have sold that product.

As far as not being able to find information. I am pretty sure you will have a hard time finding anything on Rebic LC for FC3S... HKS F-Con PRO V for FC3S... HKS Rear Steer Elminator for the Mitsu GTO/3000GT... But... Doesnt mean it doesn't exist... You just haven't seen it yet.

 

If you can provide a part# than I'll believe it. I can provide a Part # for the S5 Ap Engineering pfc.

Further searching under that part number reveals that listing ended on May 09 of 2009. You can search it for yourself to prove it to yourself if you understand how to use a search engine.




Using a similar title as the listing that ended in May 09, I searched on google, and found another ap eng s4 power fc for sale... A listed price of $900 from JPS (you know the company i mentioned eariler)



Shows that the item was bought for 900 US dollars by "rotaryracin19" on Jun 23, 2009. You are more than welcome to search under his still active ebay name to see that he was happy with his geniune ap engineering S4 power fc that you said did not exist.

If you could wait PATIENTLY, and if I see it for sale on eBay in the future, I would be more than happy to post more into this thread about the rare s4 ap engineering power fc.

I just proved that the product was sold. I know you don't have alot of experience with buying used parts but seeing the actual product is more proof than you getting a list somewhere online from someone who doesn't have the product.

Any F-CON Box can be used on an FC, you just need to reconfigure the inner jumpers and get the specific wiring harness from HKS.

 

Any monkey can try to sell you stuff but when the facts are out there that a S4 Ap engineering never was made. I don't know. I guess you will believe anything. Also if it was available, dont you think that someone on the board would chime in.hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! As for your the rude comment, Maybe but whats your excuse.

 

Ap Engineering is a Apexi product not a HKS product.

JPS have been selling parts for a while and have always had good feedback - infact, they were the one that I got my ap eng s5 pfc from... back when no one would believe you can run a pfc on a fc... Really - I am pretty sure they know what they are selling, esspecially when I have seen 5 or 6 pictures of that said S4 PFC unit.

There are also no conclusive evidence from your side that said there was never a S4 AP Eng PFC. All you did was provide few fail copypasta, where I proved that the unit was sold, and the buyer used it and was happy about it.

You proved that you cannot find it online, but I proved that it was sold, and bought, and the buyer was happy with the item he bought.

As far as someone chiming in. Lets see - that last buyer on that specific S4 PFC was in australia. I seriously doubt he would go on the west coast US forums to disprove you. It would be kind of stupid?


For the 5th (?) time now, I told you to email either JPS or the buyer about the said product if you want to be proven wrong again... but I guess you are too shy.

I will be emailing both of them today. Let's see what they say.
