i got a ca title for a rx7....

2 registered owner...

line 1a and 1b is empty....

line 2 is signed.... the rest of the title isnt filled out... is the title still vailid, or is it messed up?

i am registering the vehicle in NY... i know how ny titles work... but not ca....

Just to sum it up for you..

He should have signed 1a and 1b as well IF there was someone else on the title along with him, then he also has to sign where it says "TRANSFEROR" and also on 2.

You sign where it says "TRANSFEREE" and fill out the info on the back #1-5 and 9a.

 

so if i can forge his signature, is it still valid? lol..... he signed the lien holder section....

 

lol **** it, I doubt you want to send the title back to CA and have it shipped back..

 

well i dont want to ship it to CA, i do want to have the vehicle titled under my name, in NY.

i just want to know if the error signature in line two lien holder section will void out the title.
