If im not mistaken that is the same motor in the S4 Non-Turbos.

Correct me if im wrong.

You are wrong my friend. Its a 6 port but with only 2 680cc injectors. Also the housings are different than a 6 port 86-91. Water seals are in the aluminum housing instead of beening in the irons. Better design!!! 9k is not bad if its in mint condition. Very low mileage of course.

Not surprising one bit.

First gen Rx7s in japan (when i was there) were in the 10,000-13,000 K Range for a clean Savanna Turbo (12A Turbo).

The GSL-SE would be our flagship first gen Rx-7, so i am sure (and it should) hold it's value.
