I just bought a fc s5 with a rebuilt engine and when i cold start it it revs real high. At 3k. And at idle it goes from 1500you to 1kthe rpm the whole time im new to rotary this is my first one so i dont know what im doing i can drive to you if you can help me by addressing the problem i live in fontana right next to cali apeedway.

 

The 3k rev is normal. That's the engine warm Up process. With the bouncy idle. All you have to do Is adjust the tps. There is a write up somewhere on this forum that can help you.

 

That's cool on the new rx7, how much did you pay?

 

its a bucket the kit looks like *** and it doesnt even line up but it runs good and has a t2 diff

also the gas gauge it only works when its at half and up anything below half it doesnt read. is that just becuase of the cluster? the oil pressure needdle stays all the way up it dont even read anything and the miliage doesnt work but everything else works.
