Help Needed in San Diego

Yes i need a little help if some one could manage it. I have been doing small repairs on my fc without any problems. I have replaced the pulsation damper and had the injectors cleaned. Now I get nothing from the secondary injectors. I hit the brick wall at around 3500 rpm. I have re-done a few grounds and triple checked every connection that I touched and some that I didn't. The only thing I haven't done yet is swap the secondaries out with the primaries to see if they are working right. If there is anyone out there in San Diego who is handy with a mutimeter and knows how to trouble shoot this kind of problem let me know. This is my dd so I need it back up asap.

Pull them out and check if they test ok on impedence and put a battery on them to see if they will click. Check yuor pressure sensor to make sure is connected to the correct vacuum nipple. Check your aux port actuators to make sure they function correctly.

Okay guys here's the news so far. I checked to AFM looks good and seems to function fine. I found a few ground that were in horrible shape. I used 12g wire to re-ground and the wall went from 3500 rpm to 4000. So I can drive it and did today, but I was getting passed by grandmas because my eye was on the boost making sure I wasn't getting any.

I wanted to swap out the injectors today but I have been working all night and then waking up early to work on the car and i am near exhaustion. I will drag my lazy *** out tommorrow morning and get this done along with some other tests. I will let you guys now what happens.

And yes wacky the only thing that will keep me from showing you up is if someone steals my wheels (*knocks on wood*)

ok second look.....you had the injectors done...... first check them. Did you mark them before you sent them out? If not Maybe theshop fucked up when they sent them back. Pull off the injector plugs and check the resistance on the 2 prongs.I The only thing that has changed is the injectors, so I would start there. You can BUY a DMM for 10 -15 bucks and they are well worth it!!!!!!! Also check/redo the ground under the airbox.

What do you mean mark them? I don't think I got the wrong ones back. I gave them two purple 550's and two orange 680's. If i misunderstood you please let me know. I'm still in that sleep deprived state.

I am going to borrow a DMM from work to check the injectors. And there is not airbox, there is only some home depot looking TID. But I will attack every ground I can find.

My car has a mind of it's own.

Well I got some crazy feeling that my secondaries were the problem. So about an hour ago i swaped them with the primaries. I started it up and it ran really rough. It sounded like a bridgeport. It was at 1500 rpm going brap, brap, brap, brap. At that point I knew I got fucked on the injector cleaning at least on the secondaries.

So the thing was going brap for about 5 minutes and I thought I'd see if the secondaries would turn on. So i took it around the block below 4000rpm a few times to see what it would do. The idle smoothed out so I can only assume the constant flow of fuel cleaned out whatever might have been in them.

So I let it sit for a few minutes and checked for leaks. Them I took another drive and took it up to about 6000 rpm and it was fine. Smooth transition from 2000 rpm to 6000rpm, it had great power and felt quicker than before.

So I was thinking that I could run it as is. Do you think I should leave the 680's as primaries for a few days and then try to swap them back to see if that clears up the problem? Is it safe for me to run the 680's as primaries with the 550's as secondaries? Keep in mind the boost stays at about 8-10 psi. I just wanna make sure I get enough fuel to the motor.

forget all other issuses!!!!! Fix/get the right injectors!!! Going lean is a easy way to lose the motor. GET IT FIXED. Go to the yard and find 2 temperary replacements till the 680's are replaced if you have to. Swap the 460's back to the primary spot so you can button it up. Injectors are easy to come by at the junk yard. Also CALL THE SHOP AND CHEW SOME ***. Who did the injectors for ya?

I never had 460's i had the 550's. I will put them back and see what happens tommorrow. And some local place did the injectors. I will call them and blast them don't worry. I consider it my fault because the good injector shop isn't open on the week-ends so I settled for less.

i don't think anyone will steal my wheels, but i have full coverage and **** happens.
