Help: Need to use someone's PFC Commander in San Diego Region

Hi guys,

So I purchased a PFC from a guy in the LA area that subsequently sold me a Commander unit that does not work with it Serial# FCC 3020-25888.

Anyways, I have a bone stock 94 R2 that I wanted to plug the PFC into so I could run a diagnostic check and drive the car with until I sell it.

The engine will not start until I am able to reset the PFC to the factory base map and because I lack a working Commander / datalogit, I am dead in the water.

Anyone in the San Diego region mind meeting up with me so I can reset the ECU back to basemap? I will buy you a six pack of beer / pizza in exchange.

Cheers,

John

Are you sure that's the correct serial number? One for an FD should start with PFC FD3S then a 1,2,3 or 4.
For a 94, it should be S2 or better yet, S4

For reference, here's the available 3rd gen RX-7 PFC models:

FD3S - 96-98 RX-7 old version
FD3S2 - 92-95 RX-7 old version
FD3S3 - 99+ RX-7 old version
FD3S4 - 92-95 RX-7 new version
FD3S5 - 96-98 RX-7 new version
FD3S6 - 99+ RX-7 new version
