XS has a reputation of blowing up FD's... think twice.. and they are VERY expensive... I had mine tuned by Kan during SS8... And i'm LOVIN' IT.

XS tuned my car several times, it made 380rwhp on 91 octane at 1 kg of boost. IMO I did a good job. Assuming your car is in good mechanical condition, the cost isn't that much. However if you go in with leaking injectors, exhaust leaks, etc... the bill could rack up.

yes i mean megasquirt. when i go for a rebuild i only want 200-225rwhp with a stock rebuilt turbo, i already have a turboback with fcd.

i was thinking megasquirt because it costs around the same as an safc but it is a complete standalone not a piggyback

To my knowledge, nobody has gotten an FD running with a Megasquirt yet. There's a guy from these forums who's getting close (his car idled for about 15 seconds and then shut off), but the twin-turbo control system is somewhat complicated, so I'd recommend against trying it, unless you've got a good programming and electronicsl background.

with the delicate nature of these engines concerning detonation, i wouldn't trust radioshack parts..

all the same, more power to you if you make it work.

Do you really have anything better to say? I would think, by reading your posts, that we're in the 6th grade or something. I guess that's what happens when you still live at home. So does mommy still fold your clothes and cook for you? ROFL

Haha. riceburner is the guy I bought my Red TII from.

Yo Josh, you're spinning your wheels here buddy. These guys know alot more than you think.

Don't be too quick to talk, as I distinctivly remember you getting a junk rebuilt motor from Pinapple racing. Or was it your tuning...?

in the great migration along the oregon trail, a man was looking for a wagon driver to help get his family and belongings over the sierras.

first wagon driver said he could get the wagon wheel right up to the edge of the cliff without going over.

second wagon driver said "awww that's nothin'... i can get one of the wheels to actually go off the cliff a little without falling off".

about that time, the 3rd wagon driver started walking away.. the man asked him why he was leaving.

the 3rd wagon driver responded with "i'm not as good as those other guys... i keep the wagon as far away from the edge as possible".

guess which one got the job.
