Getting new parts?

Is it just more or does everyone else get excited when they get new parts? or replace parts? I love buying stuff for my car, whether it be an oil filter, two just other general maintenance items. I guess its because I get to work on my car and the more I do the more everything seems less complicated or annoying to fix.

I think the greatest feeling though, is to get things in the mail. I have ordered some new brake pads and a new brake master, and I can't wait to get to installing them. The brake pads aren't even anything special, they are just raybestos Professional grade ceramics!

So does anyone get excited on just getting stuff for their car?

I think it's better to have a car that doesn't break down every other week, so you won't have to keep ordering new parts and wasting money
