bah, I wish I had the funds!! any other ideas? Not looking to be a dumbass, just something nice to cruise around on, light traffic and whatnot.

How far do you want to drive? You can run down the 1 to San Luis if over 70miles of curvy roads is your taste.

What I do, personally, is just start browsing Google Maps or Google Earth (better imaging) and look for curvy roads. The satellite images are important so you don't find the "perfect road" only to get there and it's the "perfect trail."

From Monterey, get on Hwy1 south. Go.
It's one of the most scenic roads in the world, and damn curvey too!
