Forum members who do smog work
(This is not a thread looking for an illegal smog hook-up - - no bannorz meh, plz, Doc!)
I know that a few of the folks around here work at smog shops; I'm going to need to get a smog check done by a test-only station sometime in February or March. Even though I just got it done last January. Which pisses me off, of course, but not much I can do about it.
I'd much rather give my money to a fellow rotard and forum member, if I have to part with it at all for this monkeyshines. Someone who, you know, actually knows how these cars work.
Passed fine last time, should pass fine this time, but I'd like to have it tested by somebody where I don't have to explain why there's only four spark plugs, or that the evap canister is actually in the lid of the air cleaner, or that you can't time it off the trailing coil connection when increasing revs because the smog controls on a SA disable trailing ignition during acceleration. All of which I had to do for the guys who tested it last time.
So, who's close to the Anaheim/Chino Hills area, and works at or runs a Test-Only plant, & has competitive rates?

DivinDriver, the last guy I took my car to was a test-only station and he knew his stuff but it was my FC so I don't know if he would get confused when he saw you didn't have cats.
