Question for you guys, my buddy is going on another canyon run sunday at Azusa canyon. There are about 30 people going that usually go together every month. Since we only have a few people going, would you guys possibly wanna hit up their run instead for one big run? Just a thought, i've met most of them and they are all chill guys. I told my buddy going to go to ours but he "won't ever go back to sand canyon because that's where he totalled his turbo focus" haha. Let me know what you guys think..

 

Hmmm. this would be a first time thing for us 7 club mbrs, so in essence, we wanna try and keep it within the plans set already. But, depending on what time your boys are going...it could be a possibility. Not sure tho. Eddie what u think???

Also, I know that a lot of cars heading up a canyon could attract "unwanted" attention, so..maybe we should do our Sand canyon run and kinda keep things moving on our end.

 

and im sure 10 car's going up a canyon wont attract attention...let alone posting the area your going to run in. wow. turbo focus?? dident know anyone did that.

The Asuza roads are pretty dope but 30 cars is WAYYYY too many! I'll stay on for the Sand Canyon run. Sorry to hear about the Focus... this road can get hairy on the downhill if you dont respect it. I know too well... 3rd FC totaled in this road HAHA 4 days after owning it too!

Anyway yeah my boy Matt is chill...he'll take it easy and dont worry about his Protege' its slow LOL jk

 

This is also true but the cops here are chill on these roads. Especially when they see a bunch of cameras.

Turbo Focus... WHY? didnt even know these things could handle boost

 

He actually has a 2nd one now that is turbo'd and it is ******* QUICK. Stage 2 setup and pushes 250rhwp at 11psi. He rapes a lot of cars, his **** has so much torque. You guys gotta see his car, we've gone to meets and beat turbo AWD eclipses, STI's, mustangs, whatever. He's only lost one or two races so far out of a lot. I love his car haha.

3 cars can attract attention. 30 cars, yeah that's a bit. posting the area shouldnt be an issue either, I've never heard of anything negative happening about telling folks where to meet up.

point being, anything is possible...just wouldnt want to make things too obvious, or burn the spot. if anything, we can just go up/down in small groups, couple cars at a time

well, for one i wouldent post up the location of where your going to run. people wanna go? i would keep it in the private messages and tell them the time and location. and no im not being parinoid. sting's do happen, make no mistake as i have been a victim of one.. im just looking out that's all. i would go but i wont have any kind of money till the 5th. so keep your eye's peeled and stay up. anyone who has a scanner should use it in the run..that way you guy's at least have a chance.

Gladly, he's down to run anyone. He went with me to the famima meet like 3 weeks ago and raced the hold school vett that was there. Handled! No built internals.. stock..

 

oh, got it. cool. scanner would be great . Gotta add that to my list of many things to get for the FC.

thanks for the heads up though. on the rare occasion that I hit canyons, it's good knowing what and what not to do. It's just recently, I've enjoyed the feeling of driving those roads since I cant really afford track time. Damn, every positve has it's negative.
