monnies...

cleaned the FC up a bit and gathered some of the receipts... time to calculate my travels...

trip to San Jose
$22.00 ($1.99/gal 91 octane) - filled up the car in Torrance's Costco before i left
$6.00 ($2.19/gal 91 octane) - topped it off at the local 76 before departing Carson
$10.00 - put a lil gas at Chevron before i took the 152 West (made sure i was able to make it to Gilroy's Costco)
$26.50 ($2.16) - topped it off at Gilroy's Costco before arriving at San Jose

@ San Jose
$5.00 - flowers for my aunt's grave

@ Davis
$41.85 - paid for me, Mysa, and my cousin's Davis Sushi Buffet fee
$7.52 - developed pics and CD from the roll of film
$31.00 ($2.29/gal 91 octane) - filled up at Chevron before leaving Davis
$2.04 - bought some Dasani water for my travels

back to the South Bay
$21.02 ($2.59/gal 91 octane) - fueled up at 76 at the Grapevine before going through the mountains
$1.08 - bought a chicken sandwich at McD's cuz i got a headache from not eating

after adding it all up, i used about a total of... *drum roll*

$174.01 used during my travels to San Jose, Davis, and Sacramento, from Sunday to Thursday.

but with all of this money used, i'd have to admit the time spent with Mysa and seeing her life up in Davis is priceless. good times.

Pentax K1000 - the bottom line for the Ks of that era. i recall that the Pentax ME Super was top of the line. anywho, as far as using this camera, i bought it from Ex-Eg Racer from the forum for mad cheap. well, had ilikeeatpoo buy first then i traded him for it. then second, i wanted to learn about photography first handedly cuz folks nowadays use the normal "point-and-shoot" like those myspace kids. don't get me wrong, those cameras are really good for certain applications and take good quality pics to a certain extent (or however you want to define it). it's all about the learning process for me. aside from that, i don't have the money for a DSLR or nor am i worthy enough to have one yet...

btw kids, i'll be uploading more pics in a sec.
