Fender Rolling in Sacramento

I know there are folks out there who don't want to roll their own fenders or hassle with finding a group doing a rent and roll. It took me some good searching but I found a BMW speed shop in Rancho Cordova that quoted me $50 an hour for labor and charged me $100 cause it only took 'em just over 1 hour. Anyway, here's the info...

Valley Motorwerks
11401 White Rock Rd.
Rancho Cordova, CA 95742
M-F 8am-5pm
916-636-9526
http://www.vmwerks.com

Directions:
From Hwy 5 take Hwy 50 east towards South Lake Tahoe
Exit south on Sunrise Blvd
Turn right on White Rock road
It's just after the first street on your left

Peace

I may take advantage

The hassle for me is that I need to trailer the car down, since it's track only (and I have to borrow the trailer). Add in the cost of gas to get the trailer and get the car down to the shop and I'm at $150 - and I can buy the tool on Eastwood's site for $250.

The appeal of having the tool and doing it myself is that I can do it at home, and could also make it available to others. I will pull the wheels and put the new tires on next week to see what kind of clearance I have, and may just resign to warming up the edge and taking a couple of whacks with a rubber mallet if only the very tops need adjustment. I plan on getting wider wheels and tires (flares) on the back in the future, so a little Redneck bodywork might not really matter. I'd rather use the tool and make it clean.

Thanks for the lead.

I never got around to taking pics but the fender roll came out just fine. Karack (Ben) has seen the car plenty and would tell ya the same.

I would take pics but my FD is in storage while I'm pulling a remote tour in Korea.

I've got the Eastwood fender roller if anyone wants to do it themselves. I did my FD and it came out great. If anyone else has one of these we could get together and have a fender rollin' meet of sorts.
