FC3S paint restoration- Harbor Blue metallic- Pulled quarters and Shine auto kit
heres my LS1 FC3s. simple build 380 WHP. small cam with bolt ons.
Paint work was done by
almaden collision & kenny auto Inc.
5827 winfield blvd
san jose ca 95123
408 227 9191
a san jose company thats worked pretty well with me.
They did the quarter panel pull and reshaped and fixed up all the mini dings and dents on my car. I believe in a weeks time they will be respraying my blue sapphire FC into the color you see here. harbor blue metallic !!!
I have the shine auto kit.
shine auto front lip.
shine R-spec sides and rear valance
turbo II hood, turbo II spoiler
Modernized S5 tailights
Shine auto forsight front fenders
pulled quarter panels and all the dings dents worked out
i also fit some 17X10.5 FR500 mustang wheels with some 275 40 17 kumho Mx's looks like i can possibly even fit a 315 or a 305 with a close close fit but only time will tell.
other wheels i have for this car are fikse FM5's and a set of bridgestone VTR wheels. but with the bridgestone I will be runnin 25MM spacers to make up for the flush 17x 9.0+48 17x10.0 +38 5x114.3

Where did you mount your Fuel Pressure Regulator/Filter
Is that where your main fuse box is permanently mounted? If so, looks great.
I really like that gold carbon sticky tape. **** is baller.
You planning on keeping your Computer in the engine bay?

filter is by the driver shock tower. regulator is by the fuel tank.
computer is going to stay in the engine bay. dont care too much to move it. but I do want to build a bracket to securely mount it.

You know the Corvette FPR is a filter AND an FPR, right?
I took a hole saw to the firewall right where the RHD steering column goes and thats how I routed my computer into the passenger side footwell. I totally recommend it. (not being facetious). It doesnt yank on the wiring harness and it hides A LOT of wiring.

What about the main fuse box? Is that where its permanently mounted? Did you make a bracket for it?

Has the interior been worked over yet? Any pics?
Also, I'm strongly considering those same wheels since they are WIDE and Cheap as a MF'er. (Yay Ford), do you have any more pics with the FR500 installed?

380 wheel on a dynapack .. last ran trapped 116 with a clutch stick/ missed gear issue 3rd gear
FR500's are one of my favorite wheels of all time. They're just about perfect on an FC too...
That mustang was wicked. Front tires pushed forward 8", crazy stuff...
Can't wait to see finished pics.

P.S. two notes on the foresight replicas by shine. 1) They're not 30 mm as advertized. I only found they were good for about +22. You can run a 255 front tire but you need to put the tire damn close to your coilover. I found about a +25 offset worked well. 2) lines on the fenders are pretty good (with the exception of the fender vs. hood) but the dropped arches drove me crazy after a while.

spent some time last night to do a bunch of stupid lil maintenence **** .
gotta get a new powersteering line made. old one leaked a bit.
changed out all 20 wheel studs to extended versions to fit slicks/ wheel spacers etc.
changed our rear coilover sleeves. old one was smashed coudlnt adjust them
took off the exhaust and going to be making a new one
took off my longtube and tested my PRODUCTION V8 RX7 SWAP headers to make sure they fit. they look good so I will be producing/ selling LS1 swap headers soon.
since i did the studs. I was able to use my wheel spacers

MoAR flush !!

50MM spacer .. lil to much but doable i guess

also decided to be stupid and stretch some 215's on some 17X10.5's for laughs
