Unhappy FC Buzzer-Wacky Question for Non-WACKy Answr-PLZ!

Can anyone help me with my '88 FC's buzzing sound after changing non-working CLUSTER... its really starting to bug. It would be nice to go to this upcoming RX-7 run to S.L.O w/o that frick'n sound. I thought it would be a simple fuse, but I do not have the fuse cover to tell me what fuse goes with what.

ThanX

What do you mean by buzzer? You mean that loud *** warning buzzer? Are there no corresponding lights with the buzzer? If not mabe you need to check the connections to the warning panel.

My bet is that you have an air bubble in the cooling system setting off the "add water" buzzer but you don't have the wire hooked up to the light. possible this could be the reason your old panel didn't work...........frustration and a wire snipers fixed the busser last time.

oil level is the same buzz as coolant level. Touch the coolant level wire to ground and wait 15 seconds to see if it goes away. If not check the oil level sender wires coming off the oil pan.

One more thing that I have done since that thread was archived was....I use a Turkey baster to shoot water into the bleeder hole. I take the palstic wing nut completely out (while the engine is cold), and I use the Trukey baster and inject coolant untill that entire hose is filled. This has always worked for me the first time. I discovered this technique afte having to drain the radiator for numourous reasons over the past 18 months

Do it right the first time!

NExt time, dont drink and work on your car at the same time. Or at least drink after its done.
