turns out JOHNNY TRAN was driving the GREEN DSM in the SEX DRIVE movie as the stunt driver because of his working experience with fast cars but they had to tint the front window LIMO BLACK cause he keept on saying something in the back ground every time they had a close up shot of the car they could have sound edit it but his lips keept moving.

 

hey so i just got off the phone with Rob Cohen (DIRECTOR of F&F) and asked him to look at the RX7Club.com forum and the pick the west section and choose the " 'Fast Five' Fast & Furious " thread and ROB confirmed to me that Mr. Scrapp wasnt the owner of the GREEN DSM or the RED FD and he also add that Mr. Scrapp did come with a car but didnt make the cut cause he brought this to the set and as a side note to that ROB told me that i quote "he would have made the cut if he painted his car pink with zebra strips and added more pep boys chrome it"
but Mr. Scrapp declined and said and i quote from ROB " I dont want to mess up the image of my car." tough luck brah.........

Cars before the movie = pimped out, but stock as **** engines (I heard the FD was even DETUNED to 220hp... Its all in a super street mag I have packed away.)

The Eclipse was a 420a or whatever. That non turbo ****, 140hp. They made at least 4 replicas of the original, which I believe were actually turbo.

 

The last one (Fast & Furious) was actually pretty good. I enjoyed Tokyo Drift as well.
