set up a fund or something up at your work?
Becuase "Fund Raising for the fire damaged area" you could mean you had a fuel fire on one of your many junks and need money to fix it

Talking

Lil red should start charging $1 per slurp, instead of per "job" basis.

Just to play a little devil's advocate here...but do you think those people on MALIBU, SANTA CLARITA, IRVINE, RANCHO BERNARDO, NORTH SD COUNTY...etc...need donations?

I am willing to say most of those people that live in those areas are quite affluent and can afford to live in those areas in the first place.

the fires are definitely tragic, I have several friends that were evacuated, so I am not downplaying the horror or loss of someone's home. So..please no flaming me for being insensitive.

I am just merely saying most NOT all..of the effected areas in So Cal tend to be wealthier communities or newer developments. It is not like Katrina and NO where all the ghettos were effected.

I am very interested in seeing how the state and the country handles relief for these areas. Will they come in with tons of aid? Money to help? or is it the usual crap...if these were poor people of color in a barrio...would the govt help and to what extent? It will be good to see what happens in the days to come.

And what standards would that be? no matter how you say it, your standards are "below average." In other words, you're in "low-to-no class" period

And btw, what do you know about me. You know jack ****. As far as I can tell, you're just some lil punk.

not yet but my retirement home in the province is in the plan. My pensions in US dollah will be multiplied by at least P50. No bills to pay .

Then I will post in the RX-7 club once in awhile...Oh wait, most of you ******* will be in a convalescent or retirement homes and I bet your pensions wont be enough to keep your FC's....so strike that.

you know I dont know the answer to that...luckily so far my friends were ok. Some evacuated but their homes are still there.

As well as are they going to be ok financially? I am just saying my pals that live in those areas make more money than I do. So...all I am saying it they have the CHANGE to rebuild...not like if it was in a poorer area where it is almost IMPOSSIBLE for those people to rebuild.

just food for thought...I am not saying NOT to help. I dont mind helping I just wanted to bring up the fact that some people get more favors in this world. fact of life I guess.

Nah actually I thought you made a good point. My first thought was "oh snap people may have lost their homes" then second thought, like you mentioned, chances are these people are well insured and disregarding that probably have the cabbage rebuild even if they lacked insurance, as opposed to all the poop peeps who literally and figuratively had their lives destroyed by Katrina.

even then! if you cant afford a home, especially in that area or even if you can, and you dont have insurance your an idiot!!!!! im an insurance agent, and for those people that think it is a joke for insurance, or those people that just get minimum standards or let it lapse are really not responsible enough to live in a nice home.

most of these people had insurance so they will have no financial loss, its the insurance rates we have to worry about for the next 5years now!!!

but good luck to everyone out there!

wacky im all for it.

since the "Witch" fire started near my home town(Ramona) and it was the biggest fire out of the 20 something fires, i think people need help.

yes people in malibu might not need the help. but from where i come from i know my parents could not afford to pay for the rest of their mortage, ontop of a new one.

i would say money to help fund Construction, or money to help people find a place to stay.

people dont want ******* used clothes when they have to live in a ******* hotel.

besides...*** stains on clothes isnt cool.
