Why is it in the past few years I've noticed a big loss in the trend of cruises. I think of all the enthusiasts groups I've been around, I actually enjoyed the RX-7 groups the most. In fact I miss them.

Certainly the most memorables cruises the come to mind are the Ojai cruises that are mid spring or so.

 

Too many cruising tickets being issued...

 

Gas aint cheap. rather cruise in a Honda.

 

Modified tickets aren't cheap either.

 

About a year or so after gas shot up, attendance in the Socal 7's started dropping off I wonder why ......

Yup. Started way back in the day, probably early 70's. Cops would sit in neighborhoods, and if you drove back and forth 3 or more times, you'd get nailed for cruising.

 

WOW....thats just because they think you might want shoot some ones house....

werd. you cant drive up and back down sunset or Hollywood Blvd twice within 45 minutes or something.

I wouldn't want to drive down hollywood or sunset once. **** that place. When I go to clubs down there, I don't drive.

 

i used to go to school on sunset and i got pulled over and harrassed constantly. just cus my exhaust was loud and my car is not a BMW.

Probably coz you were in the wrong neighborhood. They want you 2 miles west of Highalnd and Sunset.
