hey all,

I live in the SF bay and just got hit with the STAR smog test requirement. I have a 93FD with some mods.

SF is considered an 'enhanced' area by BAR.

do any of you have an FD (or other rx7s) in areas of CA that are considered 'basic' smog areas?

do 'basic' smog areas require a STAR smog as well?

I ask because Im thinking I'll register my car at my brother's house which is in a 'basic' area.

anyone know?

STAR is state wide. Basic area here and have had friends get STAR'd.

I live out in the sticks and have never heard of anyone here getting a star smog. We just use the ol sniffer in the tail pipe.
