Im thinking of buying a fender roller and heat gun to add to my tools list. its gunna cost a pretty penny for both.
anyhow what im debating is whether people would want to have their fenders rolled?
pricing as follows...
1-10 people, $100
10-20 people, $80
20+ people, $60
i think this pricing is fair, because i know some shops charge 140+ for all four fenders rolled without using a heat gun, which results in flaking of paint.
I dont want to charge for the heat gun because i have not perfected using a heat gun with the process of rolling a fender, but i want to give it a try, so if you feel your gunna paint your car soon, or dont mind a little flaking, i'll do your fender with the heat gun, but as of now, no gaurentees of no paint chip/flake. i did my own rear fenders, and no paint chipped nor flaked, but when i flared my front paint chiped and flaked.
please keep in mind that if you want flaring, i can do it, and i have done it before, but it will be extra, and flaring is never perfect, but i try my best to keep it even, and in most cases, bondo is needed to make it look alot better, unless its a minor flare.
Also, i am not a shop, i simply work on cars in my garage because i love cars, if you dont trust me with your car, then i dont want to be a dick, but i will not work on the car. I treat every car i work on as if it was my own, because i know everyone loves their own car. your more then welcome to chill out and wait for the car to finish as well...
anayways, just lemme know if you guys are interested.
