Question Dd??

Ok my 12A in my FB is slowly going out, should I rebuild and keep it as a DD or should I buy a cheap but fun DD and turn my FB into a monster? Keep in mind money is tight. Also if the choice is buying a DD what should I get? It would need to be cheap and fun and old school, any suggestions??

Sorry only other engine that would touch any rx7 I would own is a 13BT or maybe 20B, pistons are a sinful swap.

then you are limited for a dd especially an efficient one. I would say get a dd, if you get the right kind, it will save you money in the long run to make your beast and use your beast reasonably.

Get a GEO metro as a DD and save money for a bridgeport 12a, or be unique and put in a turbo 12a from japan.

I think imma go with a DD, but dunno what to get, nothing american unless it's like a 1928 Model A truck, but that's not cheap .

Have you thought about a V8 swap? a 5.0 or Chevy small block? I think some guys on the forums could help you out.

if you're gonna get a DD, i think you should get some kinda 4 banger. I mean it would really save you some money in the long run and depending on what car, you could have some fun with it and still save money on gas.

I say get a 1st gen miata. cheap, reliable, lightweight, good gas mileage, parts are plentiful, RWD and you get to stay Mazda.

I would vote Miata as well. Miata or Metro. Both start with an M.

I got a bike, I got a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 636, but I need something for when it rains, or when it's really windy.

Also Ive been thinking about something a lil old school, hopefully non-smog, but we'll see.

mom's car? I'm 23 and I've been living on my own for the past 5 years. and in Oxnard it rains a lot more than other places in so cal. The DD is gonna have to be pushed till further notice, being that I just had to dump a grand on my bike, but at least it's gonna be running like a beast now. We'll see. . .
