Sandi, I can't count how many times I was around Dave when he'd get a call from you, or call you himself, and his face would totally light up completely different than when he'd talk to someone else on the phone. I know you already know this - he loved you a great deal and it showed. He always spoke affectionately of you.

Today is definately a hard day.

 

You will never know how much I appreciate your kind words. I am so glad he had so many friends who truly knew him and cared about him. You have all demonstrated your friendship perfectly. Thank you for putting up with me in your private world of rotory.

I love the flowers and I stopped by today to look at them. They are beautiful and look even better in person. I will carry water in my car and water them whenever they need it. Then in June I will plant the oak tree. Thanks so much to everyone.

have to admit.. the one that we are flipping off the camera is a great pic! i think it would be daves favorite!

 

What a sunny day that was, and what a fun time we had.

 

I think Dave would think the picture of everyone flipping the camera off was really funny, because Suzy covered Megan's (Dave's Baby niece) eyes and I am off to the side trying NOT to be in the picture. That pictured captured all of us in our role in Dave's life. I have to admit it was pretty funny.
