Cool Fabrication Shop for DIY'ers in LA; mid 2009

So i saw this thread in the NW section:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...10#post8487710

This company called Techshop is going to be opening a location in LA in mid 2009. Pretty much you pay either a daily fee of $30 Monthly fee of $125 or an annual of $1200 and you have access to all their tools and computer programs and Professional assistance. This way, you dont have to go to a Fab company and say i got an idea for this, but i cant make it...( IE you wont have to pay $100+ an hour for a custom peice)

here is the website: http://techshop.ws/

Open til midnight. Oh yeah!

they even have classes to help you learn how to use the machines, and other great subjects:
http://techshop.ws/take_classes.html

here is a class for all you ricers "How To Make Things out of Carbon Fiber"

Pretty ******* cool. i cant wait til they open shop locally!

I'm sooo there when this place opens. I can't tell you how long I've wanted to see a shop like this open. (I live in an apartment so I don't have ANY freaking room for building -- FINALLY!)
