I will go tomorrow in my white FD. Try and get my buddy to take his red one as well... We went last week, but like idiots went to the wrong chick-fila on grand and valley, haha... what a waste of time that was... How many rotaries were there last week..?

If I'm back together, I'll at least run by & say hey. Fixed the electrical prob (trailing ignitor was failing) but now I've got the hatch glass off, may or may not have it back on in time.
I really need to pull the carb and tinker with it, but if it's convenient to let that ride til Friday, I will.
Thursday seems to be right at the start of my car work cycle; the wife works Thursday and Friday nights, so larger jobs tend to get run Thursday thru Sunday.
Last weekend before SS; time to wrap up and start the cleaning, but I really want to solve that damn flood issue.
I really need to pull the carb and tinker with it, but if it's convenient to let that ride til Friday, I will.

I'll show up in my FD if work permits. Last week it was just my RX-7 along with some RX-8s but I left at about 9pm. The Mazda3 guys dont know about RX-7s and I dont know anything about Mazda3s except that theyre great for hauling lots of groceries and your clothes don't smell like exhaust after every trip 
Lets get some more RX-7s there! Heck, even the Corolla guys (not cool corollas like AE86s but the boring late 90s FWD 4 doors) had a stronger presence with 3-4 cars!!!

Got there about 7:30; watched the RC car hi-jinx for a while, said 'hi' to two or three people (like ShaW) I'd met before, and was generally ignored by everyone else until some other -7 guys like Wan showed up, around 8 - - I guess nobody talks to you much unless you bring a chair... Had a nice discussion with Brad, though.
Had to get home after that to finish my oil change. Left a nice rich flood-cloud behind for everyone to enjoy; That's why the carb is coming off tonight when I get home.
Made for a good turn-around point in heating the engine up.

Should we bring chairs next time? I think I have an old RC car from when I was a kid that I can bring. You know, the one with the wire attached to the car from the controller and if you want to make a turn, you have to go in reverse until the car points in the direction you want to travel 
It was funny seeing some of the Mazda3 guys run over as soon as they saw your smoke cloud. Like we say around these parts, if it aint smokin' it aint working right
I think its primarily a Mazda3 gathering. They're all friends so they tend to stick with their group. A few of them come over and chat for a few mins at random but then go back to their "side" and hang out with the people they came with. Theyre nice but if we want to have a big group of people to talk to, we should go over and talk to them instead of expecting them to run over and be our best friends all of a sudden. After all, it is their meet.

This is so funny. I've attended this meet maybe 6 times in a row and I was always the only 7 guy there. Already rotated the FB, the AutoVert, the TurboVert, and the Beast at least once.
I'll give it a try next Thursday.
