Central Valley Rotary's?

I'm hoping to get a regular meet going on with perhaps a BBQ. I'm located in Modesto and see lot's of other RX-7 owners waving at me or driving around so I'm sure we can get at least 10 people to show up and grill some burgers. I'd like to do something every other month, but i'm down to do something more frequently. I'm not down to drive past Sacramento or the Bay for meets when gas is $3.30+ a gallon.

Anyone else interested in getting a bi-monthly or monthly meet going on with some bbq'ing?

I guess you should be more specific in your topic, as I read it I was like .... Oh Cool ! Some Valley People !

Except I was thinking
SF = San Fernando (LA) while you meant.... SF = San Francisco / Bay Area.... California Is a Big state and there are more than 1 or 2 valleys... so you might get more poeple in the right thread, if you specify, specifically what it is you're trying to do in the title...

I thought "Central valley" was pretty specific, but now that you bring it up most folks do say something else regarding where we are. I don't really want to make another thread so i'll let this one die and ask again later.

Nah, I have a white FC with a blue hood (long story). It's lowered and is completely gutted. Pretty soon i'll be back in the blue one. There was one other white FC in town, but I think I saw it at the pick and pull a few months later with a blown motor.

Hey. I'm from Stockton. I'd be up for a meet but I'm in the process of rebuilding my TII right now. I should be finished before the summer. Just keep me posted man.

I'm down to meet anyone halfway if the drive is too far.

On top of that, i'm willing to offer my driveway if anyone lives in an apartment with strict rules regarding working on your car in the complex parking lot or etc. I was in that situation a not too long ago so I can sympathize. Minor repairs only (i.e. changing brakes, oil, tune-ups...). No motor swaps or anything major.

Man, I can't have dudes showing up to do turbo swaps 'cause my roommates would get pissed, but my friends regularly come over to do oil changes and etc since they don't have a good place to do it.

That, and I'm already doing a swap out there so one car is enough
