I dropped my car off with Ben (boardname Karack) in May and I have been trying to reach him for the past month and a half to no avail. He has not been answering my calls or returning messages. If anybody is able to get in contact with him, or even run by his shop, please let me know. I would go there myself but I live 2.5 hours away so it's quite difficult. I'm not upset that my car isn't done but that I'm not getting any type of confirmation.

I'd go there if I knew he'd be there. I knew someone who went by his shop and he wasn't there. I'd seriously be pissed off if I went to his shop and nobody was around.

 

Ben is rediculously busy. He always is. I'll see if I can get a hold of him for you later today.

The best time to call him is generally in the early afternoon.

 

just post you need to get a hold of him would have saved you typing . just saw him 3 weeks ago he hasn't gone anywhere . funk will find him try and make things simple and easy

I honestly wanted to avoid even posting this as I know he's a good guy. I made a very vague post saying I needed to find him in the norcal rotary shop thread and nobody replied, hence why I made this post.

In my experience, it may take a day or two (or four or five), but he'll get back to you. IIRC, Ben takes a few days' trip down to the bay area once in a while...Maybe he's out of town?

Whatever the case, I'm sure he's not out to burn you or anything.

 

a day or two or five is fine, even a week. but it's been a over a month; about five weeks.

well...i cant say im glad to hear someone else is having the same issue. but hopefully this will help bring some resolution to this.

 

I'll try and swing by his apartment tonight to see what's up..Ben's even hard to reach for people who live 5 minutes away like me..I just never wanted to bother him at home, but I will if I need to.
