Yeah BFBC/BFBC2 can be had cheap, and is cool, with all the destructible buildings and such, but BF3 from what I can tell is a whole other level...

So you don't care that its the same recycled stuff year after year? New maps is all its good for. But for 60 dollars? Its like ******* Madden. Same game, just a different lineup.

Im getting old, and here is my old guy coming out:
Back in the day the community would make new maps for free, but I guess the PC market share shrunk as gaming went more "mainstream." Publishers took note, effectively removed mod tools for PC and found they could shove whatever they wanted at minimum effort and the public would smile and eat this **** right up (Halo, COD)

Typically I wouldn't care, but consoles have affected PC gaming in a negative way.
Thank god the folks at DICE have taken note and are making the PC the lead platform for BF3 and have openly said that consoles are holding PC gaming back. By developing at such a high bar that the PC demands they actually found ways to squeeze out extra performance in the console version, effectively making a better game for the consoles. They are making a better console game by developing for the PC than if they developed for the console.

Some multiplayer BF3 action in its pre-alpha stage. Suck it, COD. 64 players are back!
